We are celebrating two more families moving into permanent housing!

April 11, 2024

Bella* and her three children were facing homelessness after the end of a relationship. She was hoping to find housing within the kids’ current school district. Bridge of Hope staff partnered with the manager of an apartment complex that is in a perfect location. As the family was about to lose their previous housing, everyone worked together to get the family moved into the new place quickly. Bella’s kids are so excited for their new home! They even have some friends from school nearby.

Georgia*, Andrew* and their two daughters came into Bridge of Hope earlier this year after experiencing homelessness for several months. Georgia serves as the full-time caregiver for one of their daughters with a disability. They had heard about an apartment that was soon going to be available when some renovations were completed. After a few months of waiting and prayer, they were recently able to move in! Their Neighboring Volunteers helped with the move. The daughters remarked how excited they are to have beds of their own in their new home.

We are also celebrating some successes from this past fiscal year (ended March 31): We served 16 families (49 parents and children) and the average days to enter housing was 60 days (less than half of the previous year’s average!).

We couldn’t have made these accomplishments without you. Thank you for your support in ending family homelessness!
